(CB) RNLI 200th Anniversary Pursuit Race

Committee Boat Start:
2024 is the RNLI's special 200th year of lifesaving. BSC will recognise this amazing milestone with a legendary 90 minute pursuit race for all classes, except silver Optimist.
We ask that all participants make a contribution which will go directly to the RNLI. Make a donation via our RNLI fundraising page here.
- 11:00 Gold Optimist start
- 12:30 Race ends
The race is open to all BSC dinghies and all sailors including cadets, although sadly the race will not be suitable for silver Oppies. Pre-entry is essential so we can plan numbers and sort out starting sequences.
A Special Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions will be available. There will be a briefing beforehand on the patio at 10:00.
